Why Olivia wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
My passion for dance goes beyond the classroom, recitals and competitions. I want to inspire others to embrace life and dance for themselves! I have lost my grandmother (54) to cancer and my uncle (14) just two months apart from one another (3 years ago). Dance has been my safe haven to just let go and dance through my emotions. There were many times I just wanted to give up and stepping into the studio gave me life. I know that sounds cliche but it is 100% true! So if my story can help just one person, it’s all worth it!
Dance has a way of allowing me to completely lose myself and find my true being all in one song.
