Why Larken is a voice for children fighting cancer:
I want to be a voice for children fighting cancer because I’ve seen what cancer does to people, especially young kids. A little girl in my community has cancer and seeing pictures and updates of her just made me sad that she was having to go through all the treatments and that she was in pain. I’ve also seen the kids with cancer in social media like Alex and Eliza, who both passed away and it was super sad seeing the pain they go through. My grandpa had cancer and it was painful, so I can’t imagine how bad it is for kids either. I love being a part of Dance Hope Cure because then I can help be a voice for kids with cancer.
