Why Aliyah wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:

I want to be a voice for children with cancer because I was one. At 18, I was diagnosed with AML leukemia and treated at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. I lived there for about 6 months with only 3 short trips home. After losing weight and all my muscle, I decided to dance in one last dance competition. I did, and won. I am now in remission as of March 19th 2018. I could definitely make a difference and spread awareness.
