Why Bia wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I want to be a voice for children fighting cancer because cancer is something that affects every person, every day. Whether it is a friend, family member, or simply someone you know by association, cancer forcefully finds its way into the lives of everyone. While cancer affects everyone in different ways, no one wants to talk about it. Cancer is an ugly word. It is an unbearable one. It takes over lives and ruins them and controls them to the point where we lose control of our own lives. I want to be a voice for children fighting this horrible disease because they are some of the strongest humans there are. Every single day, they wake up and fight battle after battle, within themselves. I want to be able to fight for them, because the strongest humans ever deserve all the support they can get.
