My name is Anna Goldfogle, I’m 15 years old and I dance at Savage Dance Company in Sykesville, Maryland. I started with dancers vs cancer a little less than a year ago because of my brother. My brother Benjamin Goldfogle was diagnosed with leukemia cancer in 2003 at the age of 5 and 6 years later passes away in 2009 at the age of 11. My brother was so strong. Whenever I asked him how he was doing, he would never complain or show any signs of him being upset, but rather ask me how I was. He was so kind and caring and was the best big brother I could have ever had. Dancers vs cancer was an instant connection for me. This is my 12th year dancing and my 7th year without my brother. Being apart of dvc allows me to spread awareness about this terrible disease. It helps people like me who have lost loved ones to not feel so alone. I am a proud #dancervscancer
