Why Olivia wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:

I would like to be an ambassador for Dance Hope Cure because I would like to be a voice for the children who don’t have one. Children with cancer typically can’t do the things that we as dancers can do. While battling their illness, they are unable to participate in dance and enjoy the leaping, turning, and expression of themselves through the art. As someone who has grown up doing all of those things, it’s hard to imagine not being able to do them. Becoming an ambassador forĀ  Dance Hope Cure would be such an honor. Not only would I get a chance to do what I love, I would be able to dance for all of those children who cannot. Even though they aren’t able to physically participate in dance, they can still feel the joy that it brings through others. Dance has been such an important part of my life, and I would like the opportunity to extend my passion for it to all children who may be to do so themselves.
