Why Maya wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
It would be an honor to represent such a cause. My mom worked for years at a St Jude Children Cancer Center, and I know of so many children just like me who suffer every day. Through dance I can express myself and my voice can be heard. I wanna make their voices be heard as well by creating awareness.
