Why Makenna wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I would love to represent Dance Hope Cancer because it is a great cause. This disease is awful and we need to stick together to support those fighting it. I can not imagine what these children are going through but if dance can bring them joy and make them forget about their battle for a bit then I would love to take part in that joy. Dance is more than a passion for me, it is an expression of myself and I hope it can impact just one person who watches me.
