Why Madison wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
Hi! My name is Madison Cantwell and I am 15 years old. Ever since I was young I have always been taught to fight and stand up for something that I believe in. Something that I’ve always wanted to help with is being an advocate for everyone to live a happy and healthy life. Through Dance Hope Cure, I hope to have a better opportunity to make an effort for the entire childhood cancer community by helping to bring national attention to this important cause. Not only to bring more attention to the struggles kids at young ages have, but to help them have something to look forward too, and to encourage them to keep fighting each day. Showing someone you care can mean so much. Even making a small connection can show a friendship and a reminder that we are all in this together, step by step, no matter what battles we may face. Being a voice for children fighting cancer would not only make me a better person, but would change my life forever by changing someone else’s.
