Why Lainey wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I would love to be a dance hope cure ambassador and a voice for children fighting cancer because on April 9th, 2017 my cousin was diagnosed with leukemia. I saw the many battles he faced and how much it affected him and his family. It was a miracle he survived and I am eternally grateful. I know some people are not as fortunate. I know how awful cancer is. That is why I want to be a voice for children with cancer. I hope that one day there will be a cure for this terrible disease. In the meantime, I want to raise awareness for cancer so more people can be educated. Step by step, I know we can beat cancer! Children fighting cancer inspire me everyday to be strong and hopeful. They are so amazing! I would love to get to know some very cool and strong kids with cancer.
