Why Katherine wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
Cancer is an enigmatic disease that continues to attack millions of people and destroy the families of those affected. I think it is important to bring attention to all the people that are effected, but most importantly the children that struggle to understand what is going on within their bodies that they have no control over. I tear up watching videos of these children plagued with cancer and the ways their families are twisted with pain and misfortune. I hope that as a Dance Hope Cure ambassador, I can use my voice to bring more awareness to these children and their journey.
