Why Julianna wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
A daughter of one of my mom’s friends from high school was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when she was a year old. I was probably 4/5. She was dealing with this disease for the first few years of her life. My mom and our family put together a large fundraiser for their family. We raised over $15,000 to help the family. Today, she is in remission and doing well. She goes for routine follow ups and is finally getting to live like a child should. Watching my mom help this family and this little girl was so amazing. I couldn’t imagine what she goes through. She already has quite a story to tell. We have become pretty good friends.
