Why Emmie wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
When I was younger, my brother was in the hospital for two months, and I stayed their frequently. I went into the oncology department a few times, and saw these very sick children, with smiles on their faces, it has never left my mind. I now understand it is their positive outlook that keeps them smiling. I want to do everything I can to support pediatric cancer. I just started a collaboration with UCSB Love Your Melon. I hope you choose me so I can spread awareness, and do my part.
