Why Dailey wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:

I would love to be a Dance Hope Cure ambassador because I love dancing, as it’s always been my passion and escape. I started dance when I was two, have been both a competitive and performance dancer, and recently made the varsity dance team at Minooka High school. I have had friends who have fought cancer and are still fighting. My friend, Megan Bugg, who is like a sister to me, taught me that only 4% of federal funding goes towards childhood cancer research. I believe it is so important to find more cures and help kids who have relapsed find more treatment options. Throughout my life, I have donated my hair to Locks of Love, participated in Pink Heals events, Dance for a Cure, supported and raised awareness through Megan’s Ivory Ella childhood Cancer shirts and raised money for childhood cancer research by fundraising/donating my birthday money and working at Megan’s recent garage sale. I would be honored to continue to raise awareness for this incredible important cause through your organization.
