Why Cynthia wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:

In 2013, my close family friend died from childhood cancer at the age of 8. It was one of the hardest things to see happen and she was doing so good. She was always into watching dance and pageantry. I have even dedicated solos to my sweet Julia. Her along with many other children have either dealt with it or are still going through it. After she passed, I’ve been trying to find the right thing to do to help her and I recently saw Dance Hope Cure on social media and I knew I wanted to be apart of it. Dance has always been a passion of mine and I knew I wanted to contribute to her by dancing or an organization like this! I have been dancing since I was three years old and I haven’t stopped since. I feel that Dance Hope Cure is the perfect organization to finally give back to Julia.
