Why Caitlin wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I want to be a voice for children fighting cancer because I want to do everything possible to show people how strong they are and be the strength and hope that someone may have lost. My grandmother passed away from ovarian cancer, my other grandmother is suffering from blood cancer, and my mother has dealt with skin cancer. Cancer is nothing new to me, but the topic hits very close to home. I know how draining and awful it is for someone to go through all the treatments and tests. I cannot imagine what it must be like for a child. I want to do everything I can to be the strength that someone may not have gotten back yet. Or be the smile someone is in too much pain to show. I want to bring awareness to the strong souls that are fighting for their lives. I want to do everything possible to help make a child fighting cancer see the hope, happiness, and love people have for them.
