Why Avaree wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
Cancer has turned my world upside down. Recently, I stood alongside my grandmother (only 53) during her battle with a rare stomach cancer. Heaven gained her as an angel in February. It is an ugly disease no matter your age and that is why I would love to be a dance voice for children fighting cancer
My family recently joined forces with Alex’s Lemonde Stand Foundation in June and hosted a Lemonade Stand in our small town and was able to raise over $600 for pediatric cancer research, it was an amazing feeling.
