Why Ashton wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
In my own life, I have witnessed the effects of cancer and watched relatives and friends of mine battle it. Dance and the arts have always been my form of expression, and I plan to pursue musical theatre as a career. It makes me excited that there is an opportunity for younger audiences to gain such an important outlook on this type of diagnosis. Using our talents to inspire others has always one of my passions, and this opportunity is the perfect marriage of my two favorite things: the arts and inspiring others!
