Why Veronica wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
My mom and dad’s family have lost many people to cancer. I walk ever year for the Fight Against Cancer. This year I did a pageant that all of the money went to cancer research. I raised the most money for the pageant and for the walk! I’m so sad that my friend’s mom has cancer. I can’t imagine what I would do if one of my parents, family members, or friends passed away from cancer. My mom’s good friend died from cancer a year ago. She left a husband and 2 sons. We have to come together and raise money for better research to find a cure!! My mom says that our government doesn’t give enough money to help research a cure for cancer. My motto is “help and think of others before yourself!” If everyone would do this, can you imagine the world we could live in? #Hatecancer #Findacure
