Why Tessa wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
My mom is a nurse and I see her helping her patients deal with cancer treatment. I see her be sad for them but she always tries to make them smile and brighten their day. One day I would like to be a nurse like her.
I have a friend who has a little brother that was diagnosed with cancer. It was a scary time and I had a lot of questions but it helped me learn more about cancer and I would like to help spread a message of hope for kids dealing with cancer.
