Why Skylar wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
My dear grandpa has terminal cancer and doesn’t have much time left. He has been so helpful in my journey as a dancer. I suffer from anxiety and emetophobia. My grandpa is a psychiatric psychologist and has helped with my therapy. Because of him I am able to get on stage and do what I love without my fears getting in the way. I’m going to miss him so much. I hope that someday we will find a cure for cancer. My grandpa is leaving me too soon but I hope that we can save others from this dreadful illness.
