Why Skye wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I would love to be a voice for childhood cancer because not many people know the true effects of cancer, let alone how bad those effects can hurt children- physically, and emotionally. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was in the fifth grade, and seeing cancer take a toll on her also took a toll on me. I want to be a voice for children fighting cancer, but also children who are affected by cancer.
