Why Shannon wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
Many people around me have been diagnosed with some form of cancer. Some have survived, others weren’t as fortunate. The sad thing to see isn’t just the physical pain of the person while they go through treatment, but the psychological pain they and their families must go through. I know I can’t just cure cancer with the snap of my fingers, but I want to be able to do something to help, even if its as simple as making them smile or laugh. I want to be able to ease their stress even for just a moment. It would make me so happy to be able to help the patients and their families throughout everything they have to deal with. Dance Hope Cure has such an amazing missio, and from the moment I had read it I knew that I wanted to be a part of it.
