Why Sarah is a voice for children fighting cancer:
Sarah has always felt a strong desire to help people. Her compassion for animals and those that are in trouble or sick, is one of the most admirable qualities she possesses. When her aunt was diagnosed with lymphoma 4 years ago, it hit our entire family hard. We all rallied to help, we donated, we researched, and we prayed. Sarah was too young to participate in that journey with us, and while her aunt is thankfully in remission now, I know it is something she wished she could have played a larger role. When Sarah learned about Dance Hope Cure, she remarked that she was old enough to help now, and for Sarah – it is her compassion that drives her and through dance she can help make a difference.
