Why Sage wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
My mentor and ballerina, Daphne Lee talks about how cancer has deeply impacted her family after learning her mother had Myeloma. Recently, my mom has had her own scares with cancer diagnosis, and it made me realize how serious and how common it has become for everyone. I want to do something to bring more awareness and support to the families that are fighting cancer with their children. I want to be a part of the necessary movement to find cures for the different types of cancers that are impacting us all. I want to do more than post on IG. I want to raise funds and create spaces for cancer patients and their families to come see dance performances and use my art to see them smile. I believe we can do it!
