Why Raquel wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I want to be a voice for those fighting cancer everyday. I aspire to become a pediatric surgical oncologist, and I really want to make a difference and hopefully bring more awareness to childhood cancer research funding. My grandmother passed away from breast cancer before I was born so I never got to meet her, and it really sucks. Hopefully, by becoming an ambassador I can bring awareness and help fight this battle with everyone. No child deserves this, and we have to stand up to this together to make a difference.
