Why Olivia wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
Hi! My name is Olivia Mostow, I am 14 years old and I dance at Studio Bleu Dance Center. Ever since one of my brother’s good friends (Gavin Rupp) lost his fight to cancer it has been my goal to do something to help all the kids who are diagnosed with cancer every day. I didn’t know what I could possibly do to help such a big issue, until a few months ago at Curefest D.C.. I was there performing with the Studio Bleu Vocal Arts and I saw all these dancers from my studio and others who were using their talents to help a cause bigger than themselves, and I knew I wanted to be a part of this. I am tired of sitting back and watching as more children’s futures are taken away from them at such a tragically young age. I want to make a difference in this world and be a voice for these kids. I would be happy to help at events like curefest, start fundraisers, spread awareness, and anything else I can do to support this cause.This issue means a lot to me and I hope that I can be a part of this organization so that I can do what I love, to help a cause that I truly care about.
