Why Megan wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
My best friend, Hope was diagnosed with leukemia in 2013, and we were both 7 years old. Through those 4 years of my life, I got to see how cancer affected not only my best friend but the community around her. Pediatric cancer does not get the funding it needs because many children are diagnosed with cancer and only a few can beat it. Not many people know about this cause, so it is very important that we spread this message. Hope was one of the lucky ones and kids should not have to go through that experience. The reason I want to do this is because dancers can get a lot of recognition in social media and the more people will know about the cause and more people will support and fund pediatric cancer. Hopefully, this way we can find a cure. No child should go through what adults can barely handle.
