Why Mary Kathryn wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
My class recently prayed for months for a girl, named Heidi, who was battling cancer. In January she passed away. Hearing her story touched me because no kid should have to go through something like tat hat so young. Kids should not have to worry about being sick and having to face the fears that come with all the pain, doctor visits and hospital stays cancer causes. I pray one day that all cancers are curable!
