Why Mariana wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:

Hi, my name is Mariana Riccio I am 13 years old and have been dancing since I was 3. Every since I started dancing I had this feeling like I never had before; dance was a way for me to communicate my emotions and let everything else go! When I have a rough day, I dance and all my negativity goes away. I use dance to tell my stories. I know how much dance can mean to someone when they are truly dedicated. It’s a get away from what is going around in our society too. I want to be a voice for those who need inspiration. When I was a little girl, I found out my Nonno got diagnosed with leukemia. I didn’t understand what was going on because I was so young, but I watched him suffer, and then I watched him become strong and overcome cancer! We never know what can happen in our lives or how quick something can change we have to learn to live like everyday is our last and dance like it’s the last time we will ever dance again. I pray for children with cancer to have a fast recovery so they can get back to doing what they love and this can be a story they tell by doing what they love the most, dancing! I hope you can consider me as a voice for Dance Hope Cure. It would mean the world to me to be able to inspire kids and show them how precious life is! To inspire them and tell them my story as well! Thank you for your time❤️
