Why Madelynn wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I am part of Dance, Hope, Cure because when my mom was a young adult she was diagnosed with a Stage II blood cancer. She always tells me to never give up. She says that sometimes you will have to go through the difficult times to get to the good ones, and to learn how brave and strong you really are. Dance, Hope, Cure is so important to me because if it hadn’t been for the people that researched ways to help her get better and who help her stay healthy as a survivor, I may never have even been born. I am here because of research that helped her and I want to help others grow up to be survivors like my mom
