Why Lexi is a voice for children fighting cancer:
I feel so bad for all of the children and their parents who have to fight through the pain of cancer. I feel like people always think about adults or older people being sick and don’t realize all the awful diseases children have to fight too. I feel very blessed to be healthy right now and and want to help those who aren’t. I would want someone fighting for me if I couldn’t. If more people knew about these kids maybe they could have more help. My moms friend said that cancer treatment for children is the same as it was a long time ago. That’s not fair considering all of the new medical things that have been discovered even since I was born. More people need to talk about it for everyone’s sake. I really want to give something back to my community and especially kids.
