Why Lewis wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
When I was younger one of my close friends was diagnosed with cancer and my nan unfortunately died from cancer. It was horrible to watch them go through such a traumatic experience. Luckily my friend was given the ‘all clear’ and is now cancer free. When I dance I can draw emotion from these experiences and my friend inspires me every day. The last thing my nan said to me was ‘dance from your heart.’ Her bravery and compassion motivates me to be a better dancer and to put my heart into everything, especially dancing.
