Why Kyra wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:

I would love to be a voice for children fighting cancer because my sister was diagnosed at the age of two with a rare bone disease. She has tumors growing throughout her body. While it is noncancerous at the moment, she is at high risk for several types of cancers and at some point the tumors will change to be malignant. I want her to know that dance can always be an outlet.
