Why Katie wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I want to be a voice for children fighting cancer because I want to create awareness for a cause that I’m passionate about. When my dad was 16 years old, he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and this changed his life. He was so strong and fought with all he had against this disease. So, I want to be the one who encourages others to fight as hard as he did. I want to be the voice that inspires everyone to live every day with gratitude and joy.
