Why Julia wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:

As a future occupation, I dream of being a pediatric oncologist to help pursue the fight of trying to find a cure for childhood cancer. I have always had a passion of helping others and making someone smile. Added on to my future goal, my father was diagnosed with Angioimmuno Blastic T-Cell Lymphoma this past March. It has caused a huge impact on my life, but dance has been there for me through it all. Dance is a place for me to express myself and surround myself with loving people who support me through the fight. I hope to spread awareness of the fight for childhood cancer through my passion for dance with my community and nationwide. My fight is strong because I want to cure cancer and spread awareness. Positivity is key when negativity is occurring, a smile has the power to change the world.
