Why Juanita wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I would like to be a Dance Hope Cure ambassador because I want to be a leader for children fighting cancer. They deserve to live just as long of a life as anyone else cancer free. Children do not choose to struggle, children do not choose to fight this terrible battle. Childhood cancer is overlooked. We need to get as many people involved as possible. We need to advocate and use our platforms to show how we can come together and support this cause. I attended and performed in Cure Fest 2019. It felt so good to advocate and support these families. It opened my eyes to what these children go through every single day. I hope that all children effected by cancer live a long life and thrive!
