Why Danielle wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:

My brother and I were the miracles that my father thought he would never get a chance to have after battling cancer and winning. His sister, my aunt, is a breast cancer survivor. A few years ago, I watched my godmother fight against Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and thanks to stem cell transplant, she too is a survivor. A few other family members were not as lucky. To know that there are kids out there my age and younger fighting such an incredible battle breaks my heart, I’d like to do whatever I can to show my support for them and help them every inch of the way in their fight. I’m so grateful for the second chances my family has gotten and I’d like to pay it forward by helping kids fighting cancer to know that they’re not alone and that miracles do happen. Everyone deserves a chance at life. Through my dance, I want it to be known that there is hope. I want to do what I can to help find a cure.
