Why Courtney wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I would like to be a voice for children fighting cancer because two of my mother’s sister, my aunts, died of Leukemia at age thirteen and sixteen. I never got to meet them because of this deadly, devastating disease. As an artist, I think it’s important to share something that I’m very passionate about, which is to motivate and encourage those to dance especially at a young age. Cancer has affected so many and I would love to do my duty and be a voice for children fighting cancer.
