Why Connor wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
The reason I want to be a voice of childhood cancer is because sometimes we do not understand or really think about how cancer affects people all around the country and even the world. These kids are affected by something that is life changing and maybe even fatal to them. I want to help spread awareness of how this problem affects so many kids all around the country. I am also very passionate about spreading the word and being a voice for people with cancer because many of my relatives have been affected by cancer and have even passed away from cancer. One of my many cousins is fighting stage four leukemia, and his going through chemo therapy. I have also seen how chemo therapy can destroy a persons spirt and how they can’t risk going to school because the common cold could kill them, I want them to know that they have a friend or someone their age that cares about them.
