Why Carissa wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I want to use my talent as a force for positive change in the world. One’s skill as a dancer is not only measured by their quality of movement but by their ability to inspire others through their performance. Children are often left out of the conversation on the brutality of cancer. I hope I can use my voice to raise awareness to their suffering and use my dancing to instill hope into all of those brave kids.
