Why Briley wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
Aiding in the fight against Pediatric Cancer has always been a huge passion of mine. While in school, I participate in Mini-THON to raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund to aid children and their families battling childhood Cancer. Outside of school, I am involved in dance. A couple of years ago, a young girl at my dance studio was diagnosed with cancer. Sadly, she is no longer with us but I am proud to say I was a part of my dance studio, especially at this tough time. You could see the whole dance studio coming together for the whole family as we got shirts just for her, sang carols in front of her house at Christmas time, had dance fundraisers, and even one of our recitals in honor of her and the organization her family has built. It would be such an honor to be a voice for a child fighting cancer to continue raising awareness through yet another one of my passions; dance.
