Why Bri wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma on January 19th 2016, my 14th birthday. I went through chemotherapy and a 12 hour surgery to replace the cancerous part of my upper right humerus with a cadaver bone, plates, and screws. On December 28th 2016, I learned that I was officially NED!!! It’s been a crazy tough year. I never knew how awful and common childhood cancer was before I was diagnosed. I really want to help spread awareness and raise money for childhood cancer research for other kids who are going through cancer. Thank you for this opportunity!
