Why Baileigh wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I myself have witnessed many people that are close to me and who I love dearly fight for their lives against the beast we call cancer. It is so sad to watch it take down some of the strongest people I know and some of the most innocent like children. I went up to Saint Jude’s in Memphis Tennessee where my cousin is receiving his treatment. He was diagnosed a year ago with A.L.L. It was so hard for me to see him and the other children suffering and fighting this terrible fight, but at the same time I got extreme happiness going around the hospital for a couple days doing whatever I could to make them smile. We colored, read books, and simple just talked to them and made them happy. I feel so fortunate to not have to go through what they do. As I layed in bed those nights I prayed for God to send these kids a miracle a cure.
