Why Amanda is a voice for children fighting cancer:
I am a stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma survivor. Finishing treatment this last December. I have been a dancer my entire life and I love every moment of it. I will never forget taking so much Advil and crying during the last recital the day before my biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. I was so worried I wasn’t going to be able to dance again. I am now going into my senior year season and dancing. I only have pre treatment pictures, but working on more before my hair grows back. Having cancer in high school is hard and I want to make sure one day no kid has to!
