Why Alexis wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
I learned of this great cause recently while participating at Velocity Nationals in Las Vegas. My family and I experienced a devastating loss when I was just 10. After my father was diagnosed with cancer, our lives were never the same. I continued to dance throughout his illness, the chemo and weight loss; watching this happen to my Dad changed me forever. It is with this knowledge that I feel that I can understand what these children and their families are going through. I would be very honored to help with this wonderful cause in anyway I can. Thank you!
