Why Alex wants to be a voice for children fighting cancer:
My whole life I’ve been gifted the privilege of being healthy. However, I am familiar with many children fighting cancer because of the sad reality of the significant amount of people diagnosed. I often am conflicted as it doesn’t seem fair, yet it’s true. My heart breaks for these kids. Although I am incapable of “fixing” cancer, I am able to spread awareness and advocate for these cancer fighters. I am passionate about rooting for these kids because all children need support. But, my passion for this cause is not relevant unless I back it up with actions. Dance Hope Cure can help provide an outlet for me to finally be a voice for people other than myself to hear.
